Richie is THE BEST curly hair stylist in Austin. I've been coming exclusively to him for 4+ years now and have never been disappointed. His skills and experience are simply unparalleled. I've been to a LOT of curly stylists in and around Austin, some who charge double what he does, and they frankly don't compete with his results for me. I've had other curly stylists over the years not give me what I want & tell me that it's because the cut I want "wouldn't work with my hair texture," etc but Richie always makes it happen and it looks fabulous. He LISTENS to his clients and always makes sure I am 100% satisfied with the results. Also, he guarantees all his work! So if you need a touch up (curly girls know how unpredictable curls can be) he will make SURE you love how you look. I have curly, fine hair with multiple (3+) curl textures which has been very challenging to cut for other stylists but Richie has never missed or messed up. He has the skills, experience, and vision to make your curly dreams come true. Cannot recommend him highly enough! Thank you Richie!

I’ve been going to this salon since I moved to this part of town four years ago and am so glad I found it! Rock Star Richie is the best around. While the salon is known for being skilled with curly hair, I can vouch for Richie’s expertise with straight hair and color, particularly balayage. He does amazing work. I hadn’t colored my hair in years, but wanted to try out balayage to cover my pesky grays and freshen up my look. Absolute pro treatment. I get loads of compliments on my color, which magically looks like when I was a kid fresh from a summer beach trip. As an added bonus, Richie’s super sweet and funny. I always have a great time and come out with amazing hair. Highly recommended!

I literally cannot say enough good things about Rockstar Richie. Came to him the first time around 3 years ago after a really bad haircut elsewhere and not only did he make it look so much better, but I have not gone to see anyone else since. Whether it’s just a cut, a color, or a DESPERATELY need deep condition, Richie has never given me less than EXACTLY what I wanted and with IMPECCABLE results. I’d give him more than 5 stars if I could, my curls are looking BETTER THAN EVER!!!
